Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about booking, package choices, visas, hotels and travel preparation. Requirements and booking terms can vary, so use these answers as general guidance and ask our team to confirm the details that apply to your journey.

Booking

How much deposit do I need to secure a package?

Umrah is secured with a £250 per person deposit and Hajj 2027 with £1,500 per person. The balance is due eight weeks before departure and interest free instalments can be arranged at the time of booking, with every payment confirmed by email.

Are your packages financially protected?

Financial protection depends on the booking and organiser. Ask which protection applies and request the relevant documentation before paying; do not assume every standalone flight or hotel booking is protected in the same way.

Can I customise a package?

Almost every package can be adjusted. Change the hotel, extend the nights in Makkah or Madinah, depart from a regional airport or take a land only arrangement, and we will send a written quote with the new price and what changes in the itinerary.

Visas

What documents do I need for an Umrah visa?

The documents required depend on your nationality and visa route. Check current official passport, photograph and travel-document requirements, and ask our team which details are needed for your application.

Can I perform Umrah on a tourist or transit visa?

Yes. Saudi tourist eVisas and qualifying transit visas now permit Umrah. We will advise which route is fastest and cheapest for your nationality and residency status.

How long does visa processing take?

Processing times vary by visa type, nationality and the relevant authority. Submit complete documents early and wait for approval before relying on an estimated issue date. Hajj visas follow the official process.

Travel

Do you arrange women travelling without a mahram?

Yes. Women aged 18 and over may travel for Umrah and Hajj without a mahram, and we place solo female travellers in supervised group arrangements with a dedicated sisters’ coordinator.

What vaccinations are required?

Health requirements can change and depend on the pilgrimage, travel dates and country of origin. Check current Saudi health guidance and consult a travel-health professional early about vaccinations and your medical needs.

Is travel insurance included?

Insurance is not included in the package price. We recommend a Hajj or Umrah specific policy that covers pilgrimage activities, medical care in Saudi Arabia and cancellation, because standard holiday policies often exclude the rites themselves.

During your trip

Will there be a guide with the group?

Guidance and group-leader arrangements vary by package. Ask our team to confirm who accompanies your selected group, the language of support and any preparation sessions before booking.

How do I book a Rawdah visit?

Check the Nusuk app for the current Rawdah appointment process. Slots depend on official availability; a hotel stay or package booking does not guarantee admission.

What if something goes wrong while I am there?

Use the support contacts supplied with your confirmed booking. For urgent medical or safety concerns, contact local emergency services and your travel insurer; for booking issues, contact the relevant organiser or supplier.
